How to Care for Your Feet and Toe Nails Successfully

Your feet are constantly visible during the hotter months, so here is a step-by-step guide to get them looking fabulous.
Steps
Soak your feet in warm water. This will soften the hard skin. For a real treat, add some "sea salts" for extra care. Be sure to dry well especially between the toes.
Scrape off the hard skin with a loofah or pumice stone.
Moisturize your feet with a specially-designed foot lotion. Use a Vitamin E oil or other gentle oil on the nail and an "orange stick" to gently push back cuticles.
Prior to painting, remove the oil with a non acetone polish remover. Trim the nails to desired length, cutting straight across, not into the corners. Not too long so as to possibly damage the nail by banging, or too short so as to cause fungus damage.
Paint your toenails the desired color. Always use base coat first to protect your nails, and increase the length of wear. Finish with a clear top coat, for a professional look!
Moisturize your feet daily, especially in the summer. Best to use a cream specifically for feet, as the skin needs of the foot are different that the rest of your body.
Enjoy your beautiful and healthy feet and nails!
Tips
When painting your toenails, it is a good idea to follow the "three stroke method." This consists of one stroke in the middle and a stroke on either side.
It is also a good idea to have some cotton swabs handy, in case you get nail polish on your skin.
